A Melody Beyond the Ordinary

On September 11, 1994, Alexandre Pican was born, heir to a lineage of science-loving music enthusiasts and meticulous accountants. From an early age, he revealed himself as a true geek, captivated by epic tales and grand melodies. Armed with his harpsichord, equations, and video games, he carved his path through the conservatory—but it was in the soaring heights of vocal music that he discovered his true calling.

One day, a bold vision took root in his mind: to bring Epic Music to life in Switzerland—this spellbinding genre blending the sounds of film, video games, and television. Alongside his studies in Microengineering at the prestigious Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), he threw himself wholeheartedly into choral art, nurturing a consuming passion for celestial harmonies and conducting. Alexandre went on to gather hundreds of enthusiasts under different banners to celebrate this enchanting music, including Tale of Fantasy—the first collective of artists dedicated to promoting this epic genre.

But Alexandre’s journey did not stop there. Like a modern-day bard, he quickly acquired project management skills, earning a prestigious certification alongside his engineering degree. Experience and encounters soon strengthened his abilities as a manager and leader, enabling him to unite many others in his teams to face challenges together.

Today, Alexandre Pican is an entrepreneur, manager, project leader, engineer, artistic director, choir conductor, and teacher… but above all, a passionate soul who follows his dreams and shares them.
